Why kids need to be kids

Full Circle Experiences offers holiday packages for all children to allow them to explore and grow in the beautiful Lake District

1. Physical health: Playing outdoors allows kids to engage in physical activities like running, jumping, climbing, and playing sports. This helps in developing their motor skills, coordination, and overall physical fitness.

2. Mental well-being: Spending time in nature has a calming effect on children's minds. It reduces stress, anxiety, and improves their mood. Being in natural surroundings also enhances their creativity and imagination.

3. Cognitive development: Nature provides a rich sensory experience for kids. They can touch, smell, hear, and see various elements in the environment, which stimulates their senses and enhances their cognitive development. It also helps in improving their attention span and problem-solving skills.

4. Social skills: Outdoor play in nature encourages kids to interact and cooperate with others. They learn to share, take turns, negotiate, and resolve conflicts, which are essential social skills. It also provides opportunities for them to make new friends and develop their social network.

5. Environmental awareness: Spending time in nature helps children develop a sense of appreciation and respect for the environment. They learn about different plants, animals, and ecosystems, which fosters a sense of environmental responsibility and encourages them to become future stewards of the Earth.

6. Vitamin D absorption: Playing outdoors exposes kids to sunlight, which is a natural source of vitamin D. This vitamin is crucial for the development of strong bones and a healthy immune system.

7. Independence and confidence: Outdoor play allows children to explore and take risks in a controlled environment. They learn to navigate their surroundings, overcome obstacles, and develop a sense of independence and confidence in their abilities.

Overall, playing outdoors in nature provides numerous physical, mental, social, and educational benefits for children, contributing to their holistic development.
